Crawling Out of Hiatus

Happy 2009, everyone!

Since October, I’ve been knee-deep in my new day job.  After working fairly flexible retail hours, the idea of throwing myself full-force into my job came fast and hard.  I also learned that I can love stress, when it’s coming from something that I love and care about very much.  After years of hard work, I’m back where I should be.

Now that things are quieter, I can start my slow return to the professional arena.  I have to say, I can’t believe how things have changed in a mere matter of months.  Craigs’ List is being regulated in a punitive vein [I'm telling you, my drive to become more involved in sex workers' rights is revved up today, more than ever], busts in NYC have dealt a crippling blow, and let’s not forget the economy monster…

Through this, I still hope to strike a balance and make a serious return to professional play.  That being said, there are wonderful things in the works, which I’ll be keeping secret until they’re good and ready.  I’ll just toss a hint:  Holly and I will  be back in the saddle, together again.
